Terms of Use
These terms form the agreement between you and PostTmp for the website and email tools. By using the service, you accept these terms. Effective date: August 25, 2026.
Forwarding aliases can be paused or deleted, but remain subject to sender, network and quota conditions.
Normal signups, trials and privacy separation are allowed; abuse, fraud and bypassing limits are not.
We work to keep the service available, but cannot guarantee delivery from every sender or for every email.
Permitted use
- Receive verification codes for ordinary website signups
- Separate follow-up marketing emails when trying a service
- Manage a long-term subscription identity with a forwarding alias
- Test products within the scope of lawful authorization
Conduct that leads to suspension
- Send spam, phishing messages or malware
- Impersonate others, commit fraud or infringe intellectual property
- Bypass platform limits on quantities, bans or access
- Probe, attack or disrupt service infrastructure
1. Service description
PostTmp provides temporary inboxes without an account, plus email aliases, forwarding archives and two-step verification features that you can manage after logging in. Each feature has its own lifecycle; the countdowns, quotas and status shown on the page are part of the current availability limits.
We may improve the interface, mail routing and security controls, but we do not promise temporary addresses as a permanent service. You are responsible for choosing an email address with long-term access for important accounts.
2. Acceptance and eligibility
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a valid agreement where you live, or have a guardian’s permission where applicable. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not create an address, log in to the forwarding console or continue using the service. Mandatory consumer rights in some jurisdictions are not excluded by these terms.
3. Temporary email rules
Temporary addresses are valid for 3 hours by default and may be extended, but their total lifetime cannot exceed 24 hours. After an address expires, browser data is cleared or a session is lost, we do not guarantee that the address or emails can be recovered.
Temporary email is not suitable for banking, government, healthcare, purchase records, password recovery or any account requiring long-term access. Senders may reject temporary domains, and we will not help bypass their policies.
4. Forwarding accounts and verification
The forwarding console verifies your identity with a code sent to your target email address. After two-step verification is enabled, you must also enter an authenticator code. You must have lawful control of the target email address and keep login emails and authenticator keys secure.
If you discover unauthorized use, secure your primary mailbox immediately, close related sessions and contact support. The responsible party is legally liable for consequences caused by disclosing a verification code or authorizing someone else to use the account.
5. Aliases, quotas and archiving
Alias prefixes must follow the format shown on the page and may not use reserved system terms or impersonate an official identity. Availability, attachment sizes and archive periods may change based on service capacity and anti-abuse policies; the console’s live display controls.
Archives are primarily for checking forwarding status, retrying failed delivery and correcting spam classifications, not for permanent backup. Save important content promptly to a secure location you control.
6. Permitted and prohibited use
You may use the service for lawful signups, privacy separation, testing and subscription management, but you must follow sender rules and applicable law. The tool provides a privacy buffer; it does not grant immunity from accountability for any conduct.
You may not use the service for spam, harassment, fraud, account theft, sanctions evasion, infringement, malware distribution or unauthorized data collection. Do not create abnormal loads through automation, take over addresses or probe non-public interfaces.
7. Content and third-party services
Email content is sent by third parties, and PostTmp does not pre-approve their statements, links or attachments. Verify the sender and assess the risks before opening files or submitting information.
Sites you reach by clicking email links are governed by their own terms. A third party’s rejection, delay, withdrawal of a verification code or interface change does not mean PostTmp controls its conduct.

9. Intellectual property
PostTmp’s brand, site interface, original copy and software are protected by applicable law. These terms grant only the limited, revocable, non-exclusive permissions needed to use the service.
You retain rights to content you lawfully own and warrant that you may have the system process it for delivery. Do not copy the brand in a way that creates confusion or make promises to others in the name of the service.
10. Suspension and termination
When we detect clear abuse, security risks, unlawful requests or serious violations of these terms, we may restrict address creation, suspend aliases, block sessions or terminate access. In an emergency, we may take protective action first and review it later based on available information.
You may stop using a temporary address, delete aliases and log out of the console. Termination does not affect lawful rights or obligations that arose before termination or records that must be retained by law.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided as is and as available. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose or delivery of every email. We are not responsible for reasonably avoidable account loss caused by relying on an address that is about to expire.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PostTmp is not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential loss. No limitation excludes fraud, intentional misconduct, personal injury or mandatory consumer liability where the law does not permit that limitation.
12. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms to reflect changes to features, law or security and will show the new date on this page. We will provide additional notice of material changes when reasonably practicable; continued use means you accept the updated terms.
Disputes should first be addressed through good-faith communication. Applicable law and jurisdiction are limited to what mandatory rules permit. For questions about these terms, abuse reports or appeals, contact support@posttmp.com.
